Anthony Stefanou D.M.D.
Dr. Stefanou is a 1987 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He built a private, fee-for-service “dental wellness” practice in NY along with a chiropractor, and retired from clinical practice in 2006 in order to devote his full-time efforts on the “business” side of dentistry! He is experienced in just about every aspect of the industry, including sales, marketing, consulting, transitions, speaking, professional relations and new product development and has held corporate executive and leadership roles since the mid 1990’s with several dental companies including:
Dr. Stefanou’s articles have appeared in several dental publications including The Profitable Dentist, RDH, The Progressive Dentist, Dental Entrepreneur, First Impressions, and Proofs.
In the last 15 years, he has presented webinars, small group workshops, and CE seminars to over 12,000 dental professionals and salespeople.
He is the founder of the Dental Sales Academy, and regularly hosts the highly successful “How to Sell to Dentists” (www.howtoselltodentists.com) workshops, which are attended by executives, sales representatives, and practice management consultants to become more efficient at selling their products and services to dental offices by learning why dentists buy.

He is the developer of an in office dental coaching program entitled the POWER PRODUCTIVITY SYSTEM (PPS) designed to assist local NYC practitioners (in limited space settings and with thousands of competitors nearby) how to earn more without working more.
He is the founder of Stellar Dental Careers, a placement/recruitment company devoted entirely to helping people find positions within dental companies (sales, marketing, professional relations, clinical educator, consulting, academic affairs, product development)
He is a faculty member of www.DentalEdu.tv, where he currently hosts 3 online CE programs.
He has been hired by several dental companies to create launch strategies for new products, and he has also developed and introduced several oral hygiene products to the industry.

Teresa Duncan, M.S.
Teresa is a speaker and writer with over 20 years experience in healthcare. Her areas of expertise include revenue enhancement through strong financial and insurance management systems. She has been awarded a Fellowship by the American Association of Dental Office Managers and also by the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries – a component of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Additional areas of interest include human resources and implant team training. Her blog, The Dental Implant Blog, is a source of industry updates and practice management tips. She also writes for publications such as Pennwell Dental Group, Dentalcompare, and The Observer as well as dental society newsletters and e-newsletters. Teresa served as Editor of Dentalcompare’s Implant Learning Center. She consults with the American Association of Dental Office Managers as Director of Member Programs and serves on their Fellowship Advisory Committee. She is a certified HR consultant with Bent Ericksen and Associates and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Association of Dental Consultants, and the Academy of Dental Management Consultants. Teresa is a founding Trustee of the newly formed DALE Foundation which focuses on auxiliary education and advancement.
